Just to clarify things:
I know we need to edit this thing when we're done. Just to make sure we're all on the same page, this was my thought: that, in the end, we go in a circle. A thread will go to one person, who reserves the right to change whatever he or she wishes. There will be a merger of posts going on, and an overall smoothing over so that our styles merge. The editor may speak to the writers if there is some question of what can and cannot be changed. Then, when the first step is over, the file is saved and sent to the next person. The next person reserves the right to change things back if he or she wishes, and continue the editing process. Now, that file is saved and moved on. Every step should be saved for comparison. The circle may continue until we are satisfied. Now, it sounds like it will be a long process, but I think it will work for us stylistically. Is that all right with everyone?
Also, I was talking to a friend about our book, telling him of my many contingency plans if we have a hard time publishing. My plan was to manipulate the internet and spread the story, including myspace and youtube. I may even petition. He said, and I think it's a good idea, that we should do this, not if we don't publish, but while we try. An "online assault", as he put it, will increase interest and improve our chances. What do we think of this?
